Cincinnati Bengals show they’re among AFC elite

It earned victories over Green Bay, New England and Detroit, all of whom currently have winning records, and overwhelmed the Jets, who entered the game 4 3 and on a high after knocking off the Patriots last week.
The Bengals take their four game winning streak to reeling Miami Thursday night, but then should get the benefit of that 10 day gap between games as they prepare for a Week 10 showdown at Baltimore. Cincinnati should be in the race for the AFC homefield advantage, or at least a first round bye. The Bengals play just two more teams that currently have winning records, with a Week 13 trip to San Diego (4 3) that falls after Cincinnati’s bye, and a Week 14 home game against Indianapolis (5 2). Nothing too daunting about that.
Cincinnati was last 6 2 at the midpoint of a season in 2011, but those Bengals limped down the second half stretch and barely made the playoffs as a 9 7 wild card, losing in the first cheap jerseys round at Houston. But these Bengals won’t repeat that pattern. These Bengals are built for bigger things than just a No. 6 seed. This Cincinnati team will not only make the playoffs for a third year in a row, establishing a franchise first, but also should keep making noise well into January. The Bengals finally have both talent and determination in equal supply.
If Josh Gordon is on the trading block between now and Tuesday’s deadline, the Browns’ second year receiver might have created a much more active market for himself Sunday in Kansas City. Gordon pretty much was Cleveland’s entire offense in the first half against the Chiefs, accounting for 86 of the Browns’ 131 yards in the passing game. Gordon had a 39 yard second quarter touchdown catch, and later took a short Jason Campbell pass for 47 yards, helping set up a 44 yard Billy Cundiff field goal.
Miami has now lost four in a row after that hopeful 3 0 start, and is 0 2 in the AFC East. The Dolphins face a short week and a visit from the Bengals Thursday night, so things could easily get worse for Joe Philbin’s young team. O’Brien acknowledged he’s unsure when the new information will truly click for the Texans. But after informal strength and conditioning sessions, minicamps and three OTAs, the team has remained on schedule during the initial stage of system installations.
"We’ve thrown a lot of information, especially at the veterans, in I think this was the seventh or eighth week that we’ve been together," O’Brien said. "We’ve thrown a lot of info at these guys and Derek Carr Kids Jersey to me they’ve picked it up as well as could be expected to this point. There’s a lot of different nuances to the offense and there’s really good questions and things that they’re hearing for the first time because it’s a new question. Held before a crowd estimated at 150 people, the anticipated opening drew the "who’s who" of the Missoula business community, along with city officials, students, regents, administrators and Blackstone Foundation representatives.
"Blackstone recognizes that new graduates face a difficult employment environment today," said Pam Haxby Cote, the regional director for Montana Blackstone LaunchPad. "It’s what makes the Blackstone Foundation program so important and relevant today."
Based at UM and Montana State University, the program looks to train the next generation http://www.nflbearsofficial.com/Nike-Matt-Forte-Jersey.html of regional entrepreneurs by providing mentorship and guidance to students as they move to start their own business.

No matter how strong or crazy the business idea, Gladen urged students to "start a conversation" by visiting the center for guidance. It’s there, he said, where new possibilities are discovered.
"It’s what I’m passionate about," Gladen said. Sen. Jon Tester, D Mont., for convincing him to bring the program to Montana.
James described the state’s coming together as unique, one he has rarely seen in other states. The theme of collaboration played throughout the day as UM Trumaine McBride Womens Jersey recognized its 121st birthday after being charted as Montana’s liberal arts research university.
"The coming together of people like Royce (Engstrom), Waded (Cruzado), the private sector, support from the governor and your senators, (Max) Baucus and Tester, is unusual," said James. "You might think it’s easy, but it’s rare, and that distinguishes Montana."
Representatives of Montana’s congressional delegation read letters of support, and James Grunke, director of the Missoula Economic Partnership, said his organization was proud to play a supporting role in the new program.
Haxby Cote, who was hired by the Blackstone Foundation last year to help bridge the efforts at UM and MSU, said the company granted $2 million to bring the program to Montana after vetting the state’s potential.
"Before they make an investment for their business, they do their due diligence," she said. "They could not be more excited about the way these partnerships will make real differences for Lance Briggs Navy Jersey the students and for Montana."
